Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your data when you use YalGamers.
1. What we collect
Account information you provide (name, email, date of birth, country, in-game identities). Gameplay data (matches, scores, achievements, tournament participation). Device and usage data (IP address, device type, browser, app version, log events). Payment data when you receive prizes or purchase items — we use third-party processors and store only a transaction reference. Cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookies Policy.
2. How we use your data
To create and operate your account, run matchmaking and tournaments, deliver prizes, communicate with you about your account and the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Services through aggregated analytics.
3. Sharing
We share data with: cloud and infrastructure providers that host the Services (including Google Cloud Platform); analytics providers that help us understand product usage; payment processors that handle prize payouts; tournament organizers, where you opt in to a tournament that requires it; law enforcement and regulators where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
We process data in regions that may be outside your home country, including in Asia and Europe. When we transfer data internationally, we use legal mechanisms — such as standard contractual clauses — that are required by applicable law.
5. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. Tournament records may be retained longer where required to verify outcomes and pay prizes.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@yalgamers.gg. We will respond within the timelines required by law.
7. Children's privacy
The Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has given us data, we will delete it. Users between 13 and 18 should use the Services only with parental consent where required.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, however; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via the Services and by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
